  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Does anyone think Walmart will carry the new Delica?

I'll put my .02 in and defend the Native also. I got mine at Wal-Mart a while back and it fairly quickly replaced my Delica 4 as my Spyderco EDC. The S30V blade and the spearpoint blade shape are perfect for what I do in a warehouse and around a kennel. Right now, I rotate just the Native and my Ritter mini-Grip (also S30V). Those are now the only two that I EDC and they go from home to work to woods to camp with no problem.

byrd's are made in china. IIRC wallyworld was interested in the Native because it is made in the US of A.

No it is made in Japan. However, Camillus did make some exclusively for one of the knife distributors and it was made in the U.S. It was cheaper and wasn't as nice as the Japanese Native, though.

The byrd line is made in China, the C41BK Native is made here in Golden, the C78 Native III is made in Japan.
