My friend's grandfather carried this knife in the Pacific theater. I was wondering if they are still made and if anyone knows what steel it might be made out of.
No, but you can find them for $25-75 depending on condition. Cattaraugas also made the same pattern. The steel was 1095 on the Cattaraugas, probably the same for the Case too.
