Does PVK.com have good reputation recently? I charge $7216.6, so far, I get nothing!

Josh once disappeared on 2011, later he came back and gave me a replacement commodity several months later.

After that I also continued with the transaction several times, no problem, but the delivery time is slower.

Last week I placed a more than $7200 order on his store online,
He has not sent the goods until now, I sent email to him, he just replied "OK".

He send me the phone is automatically answering machine. I am unable to contact him.

Do some people purchase goods on his store online recently? Does he have good reputation now?
------------
Josh has shipped out part of goods, although it is a little slow, that's OK.

If that is your experience, then I would say that his responses are not exactly conducive to a good reputation. There are other stores that would be much more responsive to a customer dropping $7K than what he was. At this point, it's rewarding his current business ethic and behavior. You are, in effect answering your own question.

While not knowing the details, I found that ordering something that was out of stock, but not yet removed from the site garnered some similar prices. Could that have been what happened or were you ordering several expensive (or lots and lots of inexpensive) knives? When I saw the price that showed in the aforementioned situation, I didn't follow through, so I don't know whether it would have resulted in a charge to your credit card.
Otherwise, I've never had problems with them.
I hope it's just a simple misunderstanding.

That's what you get most times with Josh, it's not specific to 2011. It can be frustrating as it comes off as unprofessional, but he's a nice guy and it's not meant that way IMHO. And while it may take a couple weeks, he'll get back to you and make sure all's well. He has a great inventory, but being overpriced by about $25-$75 on most items makes for a slow moving supply chain (which is why you still see Daltons & Protechs that have been there for a decade, still unsold). Lowering the price isn't in the company motto it would seem. Maybe these are some of the reasons he's so hard to get in touch with. I always got the feeling that the knife biz (for him) was just a part time deal. At the end of the day, it may take a week or two, but he comes through, and if you keep an eye on his site, sometimes you can find good deals (like those Halo V's that just got blown out for $550 ea)! For $7200, he should have thrown you a free $100-$150 blade. Blade Ops would.

I just had a recent purchase with him.. Although extremely small it came in a couple of days.

I bought an expensive knife (I'd rather not say the amount) from PVK last Friday and received it promptly today without issue. After ordering, I called and left a voicemail asking for additional order confirmation and shipping information, ditto via text message because both options were listed for customer service contact. I received a call back within an hour. I'd recommend and buy from PVK again.

I searched for buyer experiences here before making my purchase and my impression was simply to be proactive about communicating with PVK either before/after making your purchase. I'm fine with that to get the knife I wanted and could not find else where.
