Does SOG knives come with a certificate of authenticity?

Sometimes SOG sellers advertise that you become their SOG knifes with a certificate of authenticity and sometimes the SOG's come without a certificate.

Anybody knowes how it should be?

I'm guessing only the "presentation" type knives come with COAs

bought over 16 sogs and never once got a certificate

The only knives that come with a certificate are the limited edition types, such as the Kiku and Bowie Commemorative.
