Seems to me that if you're on the forums, there's no need for a mailing list![]()
Was wondering - do they have a mailing list? Where they email (or snail mail) info like Sprint Runs, special discounts/deals/specials, etc....?
I'm working on something new, it's a little ways out yet, but it's coming. It won't be a mailing or an e-mail, but it will be a heads-up for our ELUs on things to come.
I'll share more once it's up and live.

OK, gotta ask ....
what's an "ELU"?
Is that one of the "200"?

Sounds like a good idea at first glance. But catalogs only come out once a year, people move, people lose interest. So I think there might be too much waste with an established mailing list.I know you said the program wouldn't be a mailing, but...
I would love to see some kind of program where we could "subscribe" to all the paper (catalogs, fliers, etc.) that Spyderco produces. Then there could be twice a year mailings or something along those lines. Either that or offer the material as a package bundle on the website. Personally I would be willing to pay for this service (shipping, etc.) to get it all in one shot instead of piecing it together over the course of the year and likely missing some.

Sprint run fliers, when they do come out, are rarely published at the same time as the catalog, so "bundling" would probably not work either.
Seems recently that Sprints are falling into two categories. Some planned far enough in advance to be in the regular catalog, others coming on such short notice that, aside from notifying the dealers, there's no "flier" for them.
