does stag expand

exactly what the title says. does samber stag soak up oils or whatnot and expand like some woods?

i have heard of treating stag with lemon oils to keep it from drying out, but i don't know of it expanding appreciably...

someone that knows more will be along shortly i'm sure.

Freshly cut stag can shrink and expand with temperature and humidity changes.
