Does the Buck 110 Have a Weak Tip?

This is an old thread, I know. And I'm new to this forum, so I've used the search function alot so far. I've had a Buck 110 since August, & I've just noticed today that the very tip of the blade had broken-can hardly tell actually . However, I have not used it to pry anything, In fact, it doesn't get very much use, other than skinning critters in the woods, and that's been a couple months ago. Although it does appear that it's still good for gutting/skinning, so I'll hang on to it. Its been a good knife so far.

Boy, you really read a lot to find material for your first post. I've skinned a lot of stuff with a 110 and never had that happen. DM

I will voice in on this old threat...I gave a 110 to my friend last year and he dropped it while open on a concrete floor and the tip broke off. I have never had a tip break, but it was sort of weird that his broke that way....
