Does the Delica need a choil?

As Speedseeker mentioned, we have thought about an FRN Caly 3 or 3.5, but we don't know if the market is large enough to support the tooling costs.

I would buy a few FRN/VG-10 Caly 3s if the price was on par with FRN/VG-10 Delica4s.

No. If you want a choil, get a Native. Not every design should have a choil. I do wish there were a more elegant way of concealing the part of the blade where the jimping ends (the part that meets the back lock) when the knife is closed, though.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was pretty sure the Delica was super awesome without choil but it's always nice to have people that own one confirm it. I'll definitely be picking one up this week.

Not sure why people haven't suggested the PM2. If you like the delica but want a choil, get a PM2. Similar size.
