Does the Kershaw Skyline run on ball bearings?

The Skyline doesn't have bearings. It has washers. For a cheap knife in price, but not quality that has bearings I think the CRKT Ripple would be a good little knife. I have one & carry it every once in a while. It's a great little knife.

Skyline does not. Some of the up comming kershaw budget folders do, I can't recall the models and they aren't out yet anyway. The crkt ripple does and there are some versions that are inexpensive. The crkt Vasp also runs on bearings and is low priced.

Kershaw Strobe and 3.0/3.5 Nuras have KVT bearings vs the IKBS bearings in the CRKT offerings.

They all seem to start in the $50 to $60 MSRP range.

I think the CRKT Swindle runs on bearings. The Swindle is probably the smoothest/fastest non-assisted flipper I've ever handled. Certainly not a hard use knife so it probably isn't for everyone. I don't own one (yet), but someday I will find an excuse to pick one up.

Both the 3.0 & 3.5 kershaw nura has kvt bears will probly be released in august and you can pick up each for around $35 at bladehq.
