Does the Spyderco 204 use guides like the Lansky Deluxe?

If so.....does the angle guides make it easier to keep the correct angle? How does the 204 keep the correct angle.

Nope. V-stick sharpeners rely on your ability to keep the knife at the correct angle by hand, just like benchstones, but since your brain has an easier time of keeping something vertical than at some 'in-between' angle, the v-stick is easier to use. You will still have an inconsistency in your angle, but not as much (as a beginner, at least; people who have used benchstones for years can get pretty good).
