Hi Johnny,

The tang of all SOG's fixed blade knives extend through to the butt. That includes the SOG Tech I (a recently discontinued knife).

Thanks Ron. That's what I was hoping. Then, it's a pretty strong knife. The blade is sure stout enough.....
