Does this exist? Looking for an inexpensive, small fixed wharncliffe

The Dragon looks totally tacticool, I really like the blade shape though.
You should hold one, there is nothing tacticool in it, actually it can be very useful in every day tasks,
mostly because of the angle of the bevel to the handle. It's not small knife but it's not also big-one, IMO it's just a right size for a small fixed blade.

I 2nd this post. I feel it's a very nice sized blade for fixed blade edc'ing; and very lightweight with a thin profile keeps it from becoming an inconvenience.
If/when I do pick up a second though I'll probably look into a custom sheath combo.

If you can do 4.5" then CRKT's Crawford Kasper dragon isn't a bad deal with a couple different color combos... They've been on sale a few different sires for around $25... Factory sheath isn't the best, but it works, I like mine, (black w/ tan grip). Enough that I'm seriously considering a 2nd (steel w/ black grip) before they disappear or price goes back up.

What stores have you found it for $25?

Google " crkt dragon " without quotes. Second entry from the top will give you $24.58 for black coated blade + I believe around $3 shipping.

hah :stupid: I found it right after I posted that. For some reason I feel like I saw them the other day for around $31 on there.

Thank anyway!

If you don't care about steel the CRKT SPEW (Small Pocket Everday Wharncliffe) is pretty much precisely what you're looking for.

CRKT fixed blades fall into the disposable category given their poor heat treat and mystery steels, although the Minimalist sheaths are remarkably good considering how even good manufacturers often make lousy sheaths. The SPEW sheath fails to impress, however.
