went out for a hike yesterday with gonadz and riz_aaroni and took the opportunity to make snow shoes for the contest. i basically tried to keep the amount of materials to what i can comfortably carry for a long distance and build the shoes in a reasonable amount of time (i gave myself a goal of 2 hrs) instead of 2 weeks to build it in keeping with esee's escape & evasion theme (one of the prizes is an e&e wallet after all).
