Does this lockback knife exist?

What is the pull weight on the Russell lockback barlow? 77 and arthritis in hands; need medium to light pull and release on lock.
Thanks.

Yahoo! I've got a reserve on a micarta GEC 83. Really looking forward to trying it. Will be my first GEC lockback. I have a feeling it's going to kick my Copperlock out of my pocket.
Nice score!

I know you already got what you wanted but I can add to your thread now. I hope you don't mind. This Boker Junior Scout just showed up from Fedex. Rosewood, Satin finish, and right at 3 1/2 inches closed. N690 blade steel.

Sorry but I forgot to get a thickness photo. I would call it fairly thick for a single blade knife.

Maybe someone on here can tell you? I’ve never handled a Russlock. I doubt the mini Copperlock would cause you any open/close problem. Edit: My bad... I didn't realize you meant the A.G. Russell barlow.

That is a fine looking knife! I would be interested in the handle thickness when you get a chance.

No problem, my friend and thank you. It's 5/16" at the front bolster and 9/16" at center of the handle. The swelled handle slabs are part of the design. All of the models in the Scout series have them as seen in my second photo of my Boy Scout.

The pull is light to medium. I open it one handed. The milled long finger groove is sharp and grippy. It locks up tight no play up down or side to side. It is one of the smoothest opening knives I own.

Mine is also very smooth and easy to open. The lock release on mine has some minor resistance but I don’t think it would be a problem for you.

On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the lock release about a 4. It takes a little effort but not very much.
