This is correct. When I worked at MT around 2001 Tony made a few prototype one piece fixed blades and at that time was working with Chris's blessing. We even sent one off to Chris for his opinion. It has been a while and my memory is foggy, but I'm certain there was definitely nothing underhanded going on.

That's good news...it's good to hear Tony still has one friend left.

Since you seem to have the inside story, this knife looks to much like CRK's one piece knives...who's design is it ?
