Photos Does this look like the "dark blue" in the xxxadrenalinxxx color chart?

Did you bother to contact him with your concerns prior to making a first post such as this? In my experience he’s a “good guy“ who takes care of issues/concerns that arise and satisfies his customers.

I did and sent multiple pictures. Just wanted multiple opinions. From what I've seen in my correspondence with him during the shipping process he seemed like a good guy to me as well.

Those definitely look more light blue and I agree that the anodizing is inconsistent, especially from what I can see of the stop pin. I would want an exchange made if I purchased those.

The stop pin is where I saw it first as well. The thumb stud is worse. I will be requesting an exchange. Thank you for your reply

Personally, although they do seem to be a different tone than in the pic - I think the ones on your knife look better than those from the website photo. Unless you’re trying to match other hardware on the knife I’d keep it as is - looks more “custom” imho…

I prefer them to the green spacers the knife came with for sure. But they are not dark blue and black and blue is my shizz. They look almost gray in some lights. Also the stop pin didn't have "teeth" like the stock one did and my blade is more wobbly when closed. I'll pull it back apart and see if maybe there was some dirt in the hole for the pin

You might try cleaning them with Windex with ammonia in it before sending them back. Anodyzed things get a little skin oil on them and change color in the light but the ammonia cleans them right up and should show you the real color again.

Is your monitor or screen calibrated? Because you need a baseline color reference. Not to mention that whatever he used to take a picture may have done some kind of color correction.

I was just going to post this. Windex on a rag is an old trick to get anodized hardware to show true.

In the future, decide if the color is right before you install them. In my book, once you take a tool to it, the item is yours, especially if we are just talking aesthetics. Regarding the above windex advice, your skin oils no doubt got all over during instillation.

That doesn’t look like inconsistent anodizing to me. That looks like natural oil from your hands have caused the hardware to look discolored. This happens with all anodized titanium. I’ll echo the others when it comes to hitting it with a little ammonia based Windex/glass cleaner to see if that helps.

If you’re unhappy with the fitment, I’m sure Adrian will take care of you. I’ve purchased from him a couple of times and he has been nothing but professional.

Maybe a little light, but hard to tell from pic quality. I have xxxadrenalinxxx custom sets on 5 different blades, and all have been perfect. I second the windex cleanup, Adrian advisss that on the site, and if still unhappy I suspect he will get you right.

I tried windex and Acetone like he said. Same inconsistent color and it's too light. My Morpho 51 has never been cleaned with either and I carried that for 3 years in the automotive world. It got all kinds of oil and never looked like these did. It's anodized titanium as well. And the rough machine marks were addressed by him saying "it's hard to get in there". The other barrel spacer didn't have the same issue. It was only on one side of one spacer so "it's hard to get in there" doesn't fly with me when 3 out of 4 of the sides are fine. I've told him multiple times I wasn't happy but hey, 60 dollars is a lesson well learned.

I can agree with this. It took almost a month for them to get here so I was super excited to put them on. Still, as stated in my last post I handled the absolute hell out of my Morpho and the liners didn't change color like that. I cleaned it with both Acetone and windex like he said but still looked the same. I'm not happy but I'm not going to make a fuss about it. Ill just eat it, there's always a couple random outliers and I do prefer it to the stock ones so live and learn.

I used whatever he has posted on his website as a baseline.
So are you going to answer the important question?????
Yeah. When I see the question I'll answer. All the replies got sent to spam.

My point is that if your monitor hasn't been calibrated, the your "blue" may not be representative of his "blue". Not to mention the type of camera used, filters color correction.
