Does this make my knife more valuable?

Hi all, I'm brand spanking new to the forums. I have a moderately small collection of knives right now, most given to me by my grandfather. Those, however, are not the ones that I am in question about. I recently acquired an Ontario Knife Company XM-1. Upon receiving it and inspecting it (I purchased it off of ebay from a military widow), I looked it over and noticed that it was stamped first production run and had a serial number denoting it's number of 300. I have number 222. That said, it's the one that's camoflage. I purchased it because I liked it and it looked functional for the purposes I wanted it for. My question is does the fact that it's a numbered frst production run knife make it more valuable? I have very little money in it, and it appeared to have never been used, as it was in the original box with all the paperwork and it appeared to have never been removed from it's packaging. Thanks in advance for your replies, and I look forward to participating here and learning more about this increasingly growing hobby.

Welcome aboard. You made an excellent choice with the Ontario Knife. There just plain is no better knife for the dollar than Ontario. Pay more if you like but they are hard to beat for rugged everyday use.
