Does this pi$$ you off as much as it does me?

One positive side to these cheap *ss POS knives: I have converted almost every person in the local emergency service group who bought one of these recently. After a couple months nearly every one of them realized that:
(A)The knife they bought for $10 was a $3 POS

and

(B) They really needed a GOODknife clipped in their pocket on the job

So, if nothing else good can be said of these ripoff artists at least they help us knifenuts to bring others into the quality knife fold

Lets put the blame where it Really lies. Red china, where the pos comes from, gets a free ride in the so called 'free global trade system fostered on the American people. The Reds pay no tariffs on all their pos stuff coming in ,not only knives. The blame lies with the American people who allow their politicians to run this one way trade system. The Reds benefit all the way to the bank. To stop pos knives we must Stop the unfair nad UNFREE trade policies of the US Govt.

Ivan...

Agreed. The US is "kow-tow'ing" way too much to china. Unfortunately, POS knives are only a very small symptom of the crap china has been trying to pull.

Ever see one of those POS SAK's? Well, someone gave one to me. It sat in the kitchen
junk drawer for a while until one weekend I needed to open a bottle of wine and couldn't find my corkscrew. I looked in the junk drawer and saw the fake SAK. OK, it has a corkscrew, I said to myself. So, I proceeded to screw it into the cork. Suprise, suprise, the darn thing broke off two-thirds into the cork! Just twisted off...as if it has been made of pot metal.
Now, I do like knives that have been designed
to be similar to others, like all the Buck 110 inspired designs out there. (Schrade 7OT
for example) But to blatently copy a knife, or anything else for that matter, is wrong. Even worse is saying that your five buck piece of junk will perform as well as a $60 original.
Tell your friends not to buy those worthless
copies. Heck, you may save someone's finger.

I think the most depressing aspect of this already sordid tale is that of the 2148 people who have actually purchased crap from this guy, 2000 have giving him a positive rating. These folks desperately need to log some time on Bladeforums.

So that's where all those Falcon knives that are so popular on e-bay come from. Damn, and all those tend to go for more than whatever the hell the manufacturer is asking...Ah well, just goes to show what kinda cheap and/or foolish people there are out there.
