Does "Woody D" still have my knife?

On December 11 I sent Woody D a money order for his Camillus Cuda Max.
On Dec 14 he posted that the knife was sold, so thats probably the day he received the M.O.
Now its two weeks later and I still dont have the knife, Woody D wont respond to my emails,
and he has not been back on BFC.
It was a postal money order.
Do I have any recourse?

You can file a stop payment on the money order if he's not already cashed it. You should do this as soon as possible an not wait. It sounds like this guy is planning to take your money and scram.
 
If he got your M.O. then he should have sent it out the 14th(day received) or the 15th.
As the buyer - It's your job to get the money to the seller.
As the seller - It's your job to send the product out ASAP and make sure the buyer gets it and is happy with it.

You did your job, obviously he has not done his. I would file a stop on the M.O. ASAP.

Chances are - if he did get it the 14th, it has probably been cashed. He probably has your money.

Hopefully it's been a misunderstanding and he's been extremely busy and something came up. But I'm thinking you may have gotten ripped off. If that's the case, hopefully it can be worked out through here.

He appears to have good feedback and indeed hasn't been on since the 14th.
Hopefully something came up and he just hasn't been able to get around to it.

I would still attempt to put a stop on the M.O.

Then if he does come around you can explain the situation and work it out.

Did he ever email you saying he got the M.O.? Did he tell you when he was going to ship?
He may still have the knife in hand.
 
I just looked and the area he lives in has been having terrible weather as of late. I'm not saying this is the reason for it, but it's possible that his internet and/or power is out.

The only communication Woody and I have had is when we swapped addresses.
He never replied that he got the money order. He does have good feedback, so after I sent the money order I just relaxed.
Maybe the weather and Christmas season slowed down the mail, but two weeks seems too much.
 
It is strange that he never even got a hold of you to tell you that he got the M.O. and was going to ship.
Especially since he was on the forums and said it was sold and gone.
However, if there has been bad weather, I know some peoples electric went out.
I'm not sure what happened, and I'm not trying to make excuses. Just hoping for the best and hoping everything's okay.
 
Did anything get resolved with this yet? The is another individual that transacted with woody d and has not heard back yet.
 
I sent woody d another email letting him know he has 1 week to repsond or his account will be banned.
