Does Your Anorexic BOSS Street Blade Look Like This???

I have been wondering about this on my satin Busse for a while now.

Come on, ask it, you know you want to. ;)

-----------

Jerry, when I saw these same striations on some Dozier knives at Blade, and I asked Bob, about them, he said that they were the carbides. So, is that the case here, are we seeing the carbides in the INFI?

Didn't really expect to see this on an LE, but I do understand lateral rolling - :D Hell experienced it myself back in the 70's :D

They are some lateral slicin' Mofo's regardless. Thanks Boss and All

mine looks like this..................

:( It did not come ?

BAH all these cabs threads have my mouth watering for one!

Jerry - how long will these be for sale? I dont wanna miss out

Don't panic. . . It's a good thing. . .

What you're seeing is the grain stucture of the steel. . . .They all have it. You have to hold it at the right angle to see but they are there...

They are created when the steel is rolled lengthwise at the mill. . .. and just like wood, the direction of the grain adds to the lateral strength. . . .

Think of them as nuclear rebar reinforcing the blade. . .

Let's Drink!

Of course mine does.:) I would be disappointed if it didn't!!:D

Grain structure is a lovely thing.

I wish I was so lucky. Mine has been stuck in Warrensdale, PA for the past 4 days.:grumpy:

Man that sucks! I am half way through making a H strap leather sheath for mine, so I can actually carry it some where.

I need to order some more pocket clips too, so I can make another pocket clip sheath. My favorite way to carry around town. Just the clip and the top of the handle showing. Then it is technically open, but not obvious about the size of the knife. (would not want to cause alarm for the sheeple). Because that is another law here in WA (if some one is "alarmed" by what ever you are carrying, even if it is legal to carry, there can be a charge).

Woa, got sidetracked there.

My Cabs looks lovely. Not the first satin infi I have seen with a light pattern in the steel. No worries here.

I wonder if somebody snuck my tracking number to Dan and he held up the local PO to swipe my knives.

Dan, you stay away from my loot . . .:p:D:eek:

I keep telling myself, good things come to those who wait. But I'm just so darn impatient, especially when it comes to THINFI.:D;)

Thanks Jerry. Thats actually my knife I think. I called and talked to Amy and she explained it was A-OK after I sent the pics. Excellent Customer service as always. :)

I wish you guys would stop showing the knife pictures... my girlfriend is getting a little worried..... she is trying to figure out who this INFI girl is and why I keep tossing and turning at night and saying it aloud in my sleep.
