Does your favorite ruin the party?

I don't think I have sold any. I like to hold on to them as they all carry their own personality, each one has it's specific use. Thats what's great about them, you can fill one of your stack-on drawers with knives, just like a drawer with all your sockets. They are all tools and all have a job to do.

I like keeping them.
If you don't carry one for a bit and it sits in a safe or drawer, then some day you find it again and BAM!!!...it's like getting a new knife all over again. :)
Yup.
My Pioneer sat a year, then I carried it again.
My Sodbuster Jr sat for more than a year, I've been carrying it here and there again.
My Delica sat for 5 months, now it's my favorite again.

Never. Sell. Your knives. You'll want it again soon.

My philosophy is to not sell. I dont get to buy knives all that often, so when i do, i make methodical purchases. This has yielded good results lately, as i still find joy in every knife i own.

My favorite (rj martin) doesn't really ruin the other knives in my collection do I enjoy it more yes but it doesn't take away the joy the other knives give me because they're completely different

I have whittled my folding/carrying knives down to just a handful of favorites. They all sit there in a neat little row and I grab whichever one suits my fancy at the time. One day this one, one day that one, some days more than one.

this is how I do it.... somedays its my cpm-m4 mini grip other days its my Bradley Cutlery Mayhem Bali...
