sand all the sharp points off then either put a ranger band on it or just wrap it in duct tape an use it :D

Well if you remove the thong hole tube, the kraton handle will slide right off. Then you can attach a wood or micarta handle if you have the tools and time.

i just emailed the company and asked if i could purchase a new grip so ill have to wait and see .....if not then ill have to use duct tape:barf:

File the sharp points off and smooth it out as best you can. It won't look pretty, but will still work fine.

You may be able to send it to someone that can replace the handle material as AF mentioend, or you can go the way Flexxx recommends. It would be more of an all in one solution ;) :D

I would sand down the sharp points. cleaning it, then apply some type of filler/hardening compound, and re-sand it.

Call it a custom "Spec Ops X-Treme War Dawg" grip, stencil some gray spray paint on the blade, and put it on the 'Bay.

Somebody will give you three times what you originally paid for it.

My father had the policy that he would hit the dog with the object chewed. I'm afraid this would be a bit drastical in this case. On the other hand it would reach the objective set by my dad, the dog will never chew this object again.

Sand her down and do a soldering iron stipple on the grip then sand it down a little bit to finish it off

I'm curious what Ontario's reply will be.
If you take the handle off please take a pic showing the tang.

I really want to put a 550 cord wrap on my sp8
but am holding off until I see what the tang looks like.

So what your saying is the Dog did a field review on the Ontario Sp8 and found that it held up well to his testing!
