Great GAW, Tim! I’m definitely in, as I don’t have an #82!

We got to travel home to Arkansas back in June. It was the first time we’d seen most of our family in over a year, and the first time most of them got to meet our daughter who was born in May of last year.

Unfortunately I didn’t take any particularly interesting pictures on that trip, so instead I’ll post this one from Minneopa Falls down near Mankato, MN, which I visited in earlier in the summer (might’ve been late spring, technically speaking).

Here are some photos from a family camping trip in Salida, CO. The peak we were on was ~11,650ft above sea level. And... my most carried traditional from this year with a couple of pieces of silver I just picked up at a local 2nd hand store:

I’m in! Thanks for the GAW! I took a trip to Atlanta for a wedding and played golf at Stone Mountain (which is where the show The Ozarks) was filmed.

Also got to see a Braves game in their new stadium which was really nice.

My bad for not posting a pic myself after asking you all to. I have not really done much this summer. Been getting over the virus for a while now. This pic is of one of my grandsons when my wife & I took two of the grandkids to Avila Beach kayaking. Checking out the sea otters relaxing in the kelp beds

If it’s alright I would like to use my entry for redsparrow . I have not gone on any trips this summer, but dog days were had in our usual walk spots by the house.

Wow, thanks Paul! Looks like you have the best of trail companions.
Early this morning I got out for a little bit on one of our local trails but blood loss by mosquito necessitated a hasty retreat.
Thanks again Tim for starting this thread. It's fun seeing all the beautiful pics of those great destinations.

I am afraid that traveling out to our front and back yards is about as far as we have gone to where I have taken any photos .

I'm in, thank you for the opportunity. I went fishing here a few weeks ago. Gorgeous place, and I saw a mother moose and her 2 calves! I didn't catch a fish though. A little while after this picture was taken this area actually had a wildfire come through just across the road from this spot, so I'm glad I went fishing before that!

Outer Space on an Imperial Star Destroyer via Disney . I had my 4 year old with me. When we got here and he saw all the Storm Troopers, he yelled "I have a gun too" - referring to his buzz lightyear toy gun. He was very excited to see the Storm Troopers! I explained to him (loud enough so all the people waiting in line could hear) I'm sure the Storm Troopers are happy to hear you have a buzz lightyear NERF GUN and no real guns here!

unfortunately I don't have any photos of this Summer ( we are still going through Winter here right now - cant complain as the Weather hasnt been too bad really ), I have been speaking to the lads overseas and those Summer Fires sound terrible, I really feel for all of you- but also for all the wildlife as well. The devastation to all the creatures from the biggest to the smallest would be so immense - just horrible!
