Mach 3 metal dog tags, made of the titanium alloy from parts of legendary the SR-71 Blackbird, complete with original stealth black paint! Each one is engraved with "SR-71 Ti" and comes with a 30" titanium ball chain. A bit more info here.

Price: $500 OBO each

Don't be shy. And don't wait. People are out here collecting single-finger knucks for $800 and other fuckery, while these are WAYYYY cooler and ultra rare and collectible, holding actual intrinsic and historical value. Plus these are amongst the ultimate things for any aerospace enthusiast to sport.

Cheers to aerospace history!

The one on the right has been sold. The other two remain.

Which aircraft are these from?

I know the airframe/tail number for most of the parts, especially the ones used for rings. There are about 6 airframes represented, and this is from one of them. Unfortunately the piece used for these tags wasn't marked. Had it been, the tail number would have been added to the engraving!

Too bad, that would be cool.

Are you supplying any COA or a way to show provenance?

Yes. The titanium was provided by retired Tech. Sgt. Dan Freeman who I visited twice so he could teach his techniques for making rings, as well as a whole bunch of other amazing SR-71 things and stories. He worked on the SR-71 for almost his whole career in the Air Force as a specialized machinist, fabricator, modifier, and main metals guy. Virtually everything is very well-documented. More info about all of this is here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/ti-rings-made-from-sr-71-blackbird-parts.2045271/
