I'm hosed and a schmuck!!
I did a blade trade recently with a certain individual and "totally forgot" to place a write up in this portion of the "forum."
MAN!! WHAT A DICK I AM!!!!!!
Anyway...... I'll tell you the story but I'll still feel like a "DICK" for not doing my man "Dogman" right when I should have!!!
Recently, the Dogman posts a thread to sell or trade off some of his "fine" blades. Specifically targeted, a Lightfoot Magnum and a Michael J. Smith gent's folder. I send Dogman an e-mail and made a trade offer.... We bounced several e-mails around and closed the deal.
But it didn't end there. I mean - - I don't know Dogman from Adam! This guys sends me an e-mail and it stated, "Take your time and inspect it and make sure it is to your liking. When it comes to higher dollar trades and sales, I always want both parties to be completely satisfied."
Don't get me wrong! But in all of the deals that I've done - I can count on one hand the number of folks that have done a deal like this with me. Actually, I can count them on several fingers!!!!
Bigger than poop - the Lightfoot arrived several days later. I felt it, smelt it, and looked at it! Actually, as soon as I unwrapped it I knew it was mine!
OOOooohhhh BABY - BABY!! What an awesome knife! If any of you own a Lightfoot you know what I'm talking about!! It's no "wimp" knife! Perfect size! It's got that "don't mess with me" look to it!!
This thing rates in the top 5 knives that I own!!!
Now the blade that I have to trade is no chump thing! Brand new and had it all dressed up with a special belt and leg strap!! Shipped my knife off to Dogman. I'm now worried that he won't like my knife! haha And damn it.....I'm keepin' this Lightfoot....haha
Shortly after Dogman got my knife he sent me an e-mail stating that the deal was done! I was dancing in the streets!!!! Hated to give up my blade - but extrememly happy to get this particular Lightfoot!!!!
Since this deal we periodically launch each other e-mails........ The DOGMAN is a very cool individual

And I'm still a DICK!! In fact, this post subject should read, "Dogman is Great - I'm a DICK!!"
So, Bob....... "DUDE, I'M SORRY FOR THIS LATE POST! I F@#KED UP AND DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT WHEN I SHOULD HAVE!!" For that I owe you!! BIG!!!!
For all of you "Blade-Masters" out there....heads up - - - - Bob D. a.k.a. "dogman" is the MAN! He's definitely one of the best!! Watch for the blades he has out there. Trade or purchase - you won't be sorry!!!
