A few photos of my hike with my dogs to an unspoiled section of lake shore.

On the trail through the tall Hemlocks.

The lake off in the distance.

Aiko and Jake cooling off.

As we hike up and out of the valley the lake can be seen snaking it’s way off in the distance.

Another awesome day in the woods.

And a quick shot from early this morning.

A bit rainy and overcast, but still a fine day to be on the trail. :D

Nice photos Mike ... nothing better than spending quality time with the pups

Beautiful pics Mike!

Hey, I was about to call you. I am at work now and my salesman that comes in at 1:30 just called in. It looks like I am stuck at work till 6pm today, so I won't be able to make the afternoon hike:thumbdn::grumpy:

That's too bad Tony; :grumpy: ...I only took the dogs on a short hike this morning, trying to get my chores done before I disappeared for the afternoon.

If my lovely wife finds out that my “Sheduled Appointment” has been cancelled the “Honey Do” list could spiral out of control.

Let’s try for Tuesday.

I know that list, and by all means she won't find out from me:thumbup:

As long as you keep sharpeining my knives for me that is;)

Big Mike, what sort of critter is the non-labbish one?

Aiko is an Akita/Husky mix.

Man I must be tired. I read the Title as "Drugs on the trail."

Those are nice looking dogs though! I really like that shot down on to the farm by the water. Looks like a great place to live.

Funny you should say that, I happen to live on that ridge to the right of the Lake/River.

Thank you my friends.

That last photo, of the farm, is calendar quality.

Here's a photo of one of the buildings on that farm.

The Indians had a village high on the ridge and farmed the river valley before the lake was created.

Man dog pics hands down are my favorite. You have two very handsome pups. The shot looking at the red building was really cool too. Looks like you had a good time.
