total length 11-1/2”
blade length 6-1/2”
handle length 5”
blade 1/16” s35vn stainless steel
I based the design of this knife on research I did with local chefs while working on my boning knife. The combination of a 1/16” blade and s35vn steel make this knife everything a filet knife could be. With such a thin edge profile on a steel this tough, this knife will slice like a dream and do it fish after fish after fish. What some people comment about after using this knife is it’s flexibility and control. The blade yields to lateral pressure then springs back helping it move through complex cuts. This is the filet knife you deserve.

Dan, these are really nice looking. If I hadn't picked up a custom fillet knife recently I would be all over these. The lanyard hole design is excellent as is the one on the Dogwood Kephart I have. I haven't had much interest in C-Tek handles before, but it really works for me in this application. Great job!

Thank you Brisket, I am glad you like my work. I had a guid tell me he loved the knife but never wanted to take it our for fear a client would knock it over the side. I wanted a way to dummy cord the knife without it getting in the way, by recessing the hole and using a snap swivel it is easy to attach it to a sheath, cutting board or lanyard without it getting in the way. The blue C-tec made me think of water and fish scales, you know unlike wives knives do not mined if you have more then one of them, I mean I am just saying. ;-).

thank you for your support
