The Cub is light, nimble, easy to carry and will handle all of your day to day knife task. The Cub excels at the small tasks that are difficult or even dangerous to do with larger blades. The Cub is based on paring knife patterns that have proven themselves to be the uncontested work horse of the kitchen, where they are called on to do every task from opening packages to trimming vegetables and deboning game. With thousands of years of development and refinement behind it, the Cub is possibly the perfect companion knife.
SOLD #3, 3 Finger EDC SOLD
over all length * **6-1/2"
blade length *3"
handle alien green G-10 with translucent liner
blade 3/32 s35vn with 12 degree flat grind micro bevel flat grind glow blade
This was a pattern that wasn't originally meant to sell. *I came up with it after working with Andy Roy for about *6 months*and had needed a handy blade to cut tape and boxes and cord, and all those little things. *I was constantly making these because friends were steeling them. On a few occasions *I handed one to someone for a second and they flatly refused to give it back. *After spending a great deal of time and energy trying to not make a knife that people want enough that they would steal it from a knife maker, I have given in to pressure and now offer the 3 finger EDC. *The 7/8" wide blade allows a long low cutting angle for great blade geometry. *The slight curve of the spine that flows back into the handle allows the knife to fit securely against the palm giving great control and leverage while making it very compact to carry.
