SOLD Bowie Redux SOLD
Total length 11-3/8"
handle 4-7/8" black palm over whit and black G-10
blade 6-1/2" x 1/8" O-1 saber grind
I have always loved the most American of knives the Bowie Knife. When I decided I waned to do my own modern version of the Bowie I went back to the beginning and was surprised at what I found! Unlike the later versions the original Bowies was more working knife then fighting knife. The simple clean lines and larger blade make a great knife for everything from prepping kindling for the fire to butchering game. I could not ignore the the efficient and useful design of the original and so I we added the Bowie Redux this year.
$440 includes a leather sheath from reliance leather works $25 shipping, handling, insurance and tracking in the lower 48
*As part of my trip with Bushcraft Global, I made a flat bow from black palm. Unfortunately I did not know that one should not fully draw a flat bow. Fortunately I saved the broken limbs of the bow because, as it turns out, they make great knife handles!

Kephart Redux
Total length 9-3/4
Handle 4-3/4 natural micarta with black micarta bolster and liner 1/8 natural micarta pin and dogs paw pin
Blade 5 1/8 cpm-154 flat saber grind
This is a hearty outdoor knife with great cutting geometry and balance. *For the years I have worked with Kephart style blades of different sizes and handles and this is the one!**Even though the handle has a comfortable palm swell and curves in all the right places, it stays true to the simple functional lines of its name sake . The 1/8 blade is light and nimble in the hand and will slice like a razor, being made of CPM-154 steel, it is very strong and dependable.

Echo-5* SOLD
total length * * * *8-1/2* *
blade * * * 4 3/32 cpm-154 high flat grind antique finish
handle length ** 4-1/2 Ipe 1/8 mosaic pins
The Echo-5 *is a great example of the evolution of the Dogwood Custom Knives companion blades, that started with the side kick, and has evolved next to the trail hiker and now to the more bushcaft influenced Echo-5 . The E-5 has a light weight and nimble feel with plenty of belly.* The shape and contours melt into your hand locking the knife in so that it moves as an extension of your hand.

Sold Piranha Sold carries like a small knife, works like a big knife
total length 7-3/4
handle 4-3/8 Gancoalvez 1/4 micarta pins and tube
Blade 3-3/8 3/32 CPM 154 scandi grind
I wanted a compact knife that could do big knife work for my trip down to the Amazon last year. The distinctive curved shape makes the Piranha easy to carry, even in dense jungle, and gives it extra leverage and a strong mechanical advantage, so that it even though it is small and nimble, it can power through big cuts. The tip can also be used for delicate work by using a pinch grip. This blade and a machete were all I used for two weeks in the jungle. Just like its namesake the piranha is small, sharp toothed, and fierce.

The Cub is light, nimble, easy to carry and will handle all of your day to day knife task. The Cub excels at the small tasks that are difficult or even dangerous to do with larger blades. With thousands of years of development and refinement behind it, the Cub is possibly the perfect companion knife.
