Domino Blue G10/204P

I see they chose to use the shiny chrome clip...

I love blue G-10 and would love to have one of those. I'd pay $200...probably even $220. But $255?!?! In comparison, I recently got a BNIB Southard for $188.

Semi-serious question...does BBS actually want to sell any knives, or do they simply like to stare at the inventory on their shelves and post some pretty pics of the items on a website? It's not like they need to sell the knives at full retail to fund the maintenance of their Stone Age website.

If you use the search function you will see that Bento's selling practices and prices have been discussed before in some very long heated threads.

They are not a well liked dealer to put it mildly..

I know, sorry, my question was rhetorical in an attempt to toss one more frustrated insult onto the heap. I just hate that some very sweet knives are held captive by them. It is unbelievable to me that they once sold the Manix 2 CPM-M4 for $154. That would have been a steal (IMO), which is unusual for BBS.

Yeah, I wonder how much they'd sell the M4 Manix if they did it now... They are selling the sprint Cruwear Manix for $226 ($260 after taxes and shipping) while others sell it for $129 to $160...so with the M4 upgrade, how much....$280 plus shipping and fees?

It's all about the bottom line though so as long as it sells, Spyderco and BBS doesn't mind.

Bottom line..... The domino is a fantastic knife. But bbs sells them for way too much

Solid G10 is more durable, though - no lamination problems if dropped or hit.

That's just a top layer of cf with g10 under it. Yes it's prettier but I prefer full blue lightning strike carbon fiber like this. Maybe I'll make one for my new Dice

I love my domino and I do prefer 204 to xhp but not enough to spend over 200 bucks. Its a shame.

That does blow. I wonder if there will be more domino sprints? I could get excited about a 20cv s90,110v or 20cp variant from a different distributor.
