Domino in Blue twill CF

I had to do it. I've got a shiny new blue twill carbon fiber clip that will set it off nicely.
 
Very cool, I like the looks, but it never seems like real CF, just because of the way it is woven. Very cool and glad the price is not a much higher than a standard Domino.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't care for the pattern on the standard Domino. When I first saw pics, I was really excited but in person... I don't know what it is - it appears to be a beautiful pattern, but something about it just didn't do it for me.

This blue CF one... I'm in (and I love the top-textured feel of Tai Chung's G10/CF laminate - I honestly don't know why more folks aren't into it - I've never gotten that real "basket-weave feel" out of any other CF so it's really a unique kind of texture).

Definately not the only one, I hate it. I was planning on buying the new Sage 3, actually I was really excited about it, but then I saw it used the checkered pattern CF and was pretty let down. Now I'm really looking at this blue twill Domino when I hadnt ever considered the original domino cause of its CF.

I love that feel too, by far the best CF handles out there. I've experienced solid CF (sanded smooth), solid CF with a smooth epoxy like top layer so you couldn't feel and texture and spyderco's tai twill wound CF/G10 laminate and its by far the coolest feeling/ most textured/ best gripping option as well as the prettiest.

The Blue Weave CF/G-10 Laminate looks very nice and if only I liked the Domino more I'd get one. I hope this pattern is transferred to other Taichung Spydercos.
 
I believe the run is through Blueridge. Taiwan runs are usually 1200 or more...... Just a best guess..............

Well I'm kind of getting my wish to see some LE runs from the Taiwan factory, but would love to see a bit more than just a different scale. I'm a big fan of the Domino and enjoy the standard scale that it came with. I wasn't in love with the scale on the first edition of the Szabo, which this probably is with blue twill instead of the gold twill.

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to some high resolution pics of this scale once you addicts acquire them!

Same here. This was not listed as a pre-order, so I assumed they were in stock. It doesn't matter, but I would like to know.

I believe kw's post in the dealer for sale forum said shipping is expected Tues 1/14.

Question now is should I sell the Domino I already have?...
