Domino vs sage 2

Just wondering, has this effected your performance or wear with the Sage?

Had both, but kept the Sage 2 longer and as between the two, the Sage 2 is the one I would buy again. For an EDC, the Sage 2 is lighter and slightly smaller. I actually loved the clip because it made the knife ride lower and more discretely in the pocket. The Domino's flipper was cool, but I never found myself thinking: "Gosh, if only the Sage 2's blade would open quicker...."

Another vote for the Sage 2! I really like the all titanium frame, the ergos are spot on, and it is quite light and thin, making it very easy to carry.

Some pictures to help with your decision....but I'm biased.

Thank you, I should have been clear about that....absolutely not. Performance is excellent and there is no wear at all yet.
Like I said, it's a nit-pick and I like this knife very much. In truth since mine rotates in a group of about 16+ EDCs (many of which I like better than this knife) it may never be opened enough times to wear anything out. As you can see in the picture it's pretty flawless.
I just look at the perfect match of the others and see this as a bit of refinement missing from this model. So when I compare this to the Domino I feel like the Domino has better attention to detail.

Trust me, I've read and watched reviews over and over and over again and now you see my dilemma

Out of the box the Sage 2 is a more practical design than the Domino; it is lighter, carries better, has a lower riding clip and it doesn't have a flipper.

I've deflipped my Domino, put a lower riding titanium clip on it and swapped out the scales and now I prefer it over the Sage 2. I still prefer the Techno (and Southard over both ;) )

I would go with a sage 2 or a dice over the domino. I have owned all 3 and did not like the domino at all. It was too heavy and bully for me. The dice was perfect though.
