Don’t cage it up, let it free! (The BF22 Bunny Knife picture thread!)

Thanks boss and yes, while it arrived ground down nice and thin behind the edge, both blades were lacking that critical sharpness that it needed. Took care of that in short order and both blades are quite keen now!

Poor man's WValtakis WValtakis take 2.
I managed to subtly enhance the engraved number with some flat black enamel. On my first trip to Lowes I bought some strange textured enamel that clearly wasn't the right stuff.

Looks good, subtle. On thin stamps/engravings like that (for example, the #15 SCOUT shield) I usually just use a Sharpie to make it stand out. Draw on and wipe off the excess, looks great. Doesn’t work as well, in my opinion at least, on something larger like a TC bolster stamp. You get that sort of iridescent Sharpie sheen.

I thought about that, but figured it might wipe off. Good to know. The engraving on this one is super thin and shallow.

1st weekly update:

I pulled #327 from the mailbox last Tuesday, and it's been in my pocket since then. It mostly gets pulled out for snack duty, or opening mail. Then again, that's generally the life of my pocket knives. Especially this time of year without any gardening to speak of.

It's a great knife, and I'm so grateful for all of the effort put into getting it into my grubby hands.

I knew I was gonna like this knife when I saw the mark up from GEC with dimensions, clip main and pen secondary. BUT I didn't know HOW MUCH!!
Getting it in hand I realized how much it's similar to one of my favorite patterns from Queen in their Schatt and Morgan line.
Pattern # 042-151 and small Trapper really hits home for me so I thought I'd show the 2 together!
The #39 Bunny is 3 .450" closed, is .735" wide at the bare end, is .480 thick, the clip is .640" wide at the top of the swedge and 2.825" long.
The Schatt #151 is 3.515" closed, is .600" wide at the bolstered end, is .550 thick, the clip is .510" wide at the top of the swedge and 2.915" long.
Queen did many covers on this pattern, I believe I have most if not all, but the one I carry is also wood covered, cocobolo I think.
Anyway This is a GREAT pocket sized pattern with plenty of blade for almost every chore! LOVE IT!!!!
Thank You Spark Spark , waynorth waynorth , meako meako , Bill and the employees at GEC!!!

I am just curious, what is the next size up version of this kind of two blade knife? I don't mean the big "Well done Angus" as that's just a tad larger than I am thinking of. What's right in between?
