Thanks! I’ve been working it fairly hard as I work to complete a chess set. My hands get sweaty during the process and come up black and discolored every session. I wonder how long before I work the polish out?

4th weekly update:
This has been a bit of a pocket hog since I got it. I usually have a Buck 301 or 303 in my front pocket. This one sits in the sweet spot between those two, and it's stubbornly held on as my daily carry. I can't recall the last time I carried the same knife for a month. Probably a couple of years...

Thanks! I didn't polish it. Sometimes after I put chapstick on, I'll rub my thumb and index finger together and give the blade a quick wipe. I probably did that this morning, and got some on the ebony.

At some point in the beginning of this year I will be doing a forum giveaway with #172 (yes, free). I was just waiting to see if there is someone in dire straights who might deserve one, before I open it up to everyone eligible to buy them in the first place..

Yes, this one has been polished. I don‘t really like to see any wood on a pocket knife that isn’t polished.

Really loving mine. Half stops are perfect. Snap on each position is perfect. Finding it to be excellent for carving. Can’t wait to see what the forum comes up with for 2023!
