Don Hanson, Bruce Bump, Kevin Cashin

Thanks guys! This has really been a kick for me, and I appreicate the input and photos. Kevin I'm sorry I misspelled your last name, Danbo thank you for pointing it out. If you are able to get some pictures later on please post them if you have time. Don, the integral really caught my eye, with that ricasso like it is. I've always loved your folders. Who couldn't love the Bowie of Bruces, and the axe/gun, plus the photos of the antique (ancient?) models. Thanks again fellows!
 
Well I saw your post Mr. Cashen and checked your site out too.Wow!What can you say to this stuff except,Wow!Stunning!I will be wanting some of your Damascus very soon.I wont ever forget these three names,Ever!I don't mean to be so goofy but this thread and the work that I have been able to see because of it has really affected me.I whole heartedly share the passion for the Blade,you guys have really set a High Mark.Thanks again to all !!
 
The Bowie from Bruce Bump is nice knife i got to mess with it in oregon and bought a knife from Bruce

Hey man, I don't know you yet but your enthusiasm is a beautiful thing. :cool: I know exactly how you feel, been in pretty much a constant state of awe for the last five-odd years myself. This is one amazing place. :D

Don't sweat it, since the family came to America during the famine, different branches spell it with an "e" or an "i", I can't be too bothered by it since my grandfather used the "i" spelling himself, the last two generations in my family have used the "e", which seems to be the common spelling back in Ireland.
 
Good, thanks! My name was Heinzerling when cousin James hit Ellis (sp?) Island in 1792. Got changed to Hensarling somewhere down the line, easier to spell and pronounce(well, spell).
