Don Hanson Camp Bowie

Very nice. I like this one's slightly thicker shape. It certainly looks like it could handle anything in Camp.

 Maybe I need one of them smart phones?

No worries Cliff, I built this small tent based on Coop's thread "$75 no frills light box" http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...tent-lightbox?highlight=photography+light+box

It's made from poster board and duct tape with a sheer fabric over the top and some cheap clip on lights from Walmart. It can't do what the pros can do but its better than just putting them down on the counter with kitchen lights. Hope this helps. Take a look at Coop's thread because it discusses why all this is important for good photos. I learned a lot.

Beautiful knife...and not bad fotos either:cool:

Especially considering the high tech equipment :p

Stunning piece of work Don. I'm learning how to work with ivory. I only hope I can make it look half as good as that.

Thanks for the photo shot and thread. Very nice for iPhone. Mine look terrible.

Wonderful piece of handle material going on there! So much color and pattern...way cool. The slight curves added to the guard are a nice detail also.

Not a typical Hanson blade shape either. I really like the "sweep" of the blade. It gives the knife a sense of motion even when it's lying still. Great leather, too! A beautiful package!!!

.....hard to imagine a nicer piece of ancient walrus, and the Damascus compliments
it perfectly. ...been back to see this one a few times..!!!
