Today's offerings are two custom blades by Don Hanson III (Steam Mill Forge), both in absolutely MINT & LIKE-NEW condition. These blades have been inspected and handled, were used to test cutting a small branch and that is it. Un-carried in MINT condition!
These blades are also currently cross listed elsewhere for higher $ plus shipping. Offering these blades on Blade Forums at my rock-bottom, no trades, no offers, below original cost prices.

SOLD (No. 2) Don Hanson III (Steam Mill Forge) cutter, 9.25" recurve blade, black walnut, leather scabbard (was originally bought in Mar 2017 for ~ $795, look at the last posted photo from DHIII IG of a very similar Cutter).

The blade of this camp knife is made from an old, large sawmill blade (8670 carbon steel) and is heat treated to 60 HRC. The flats are forge finished. A differential heat treatment ensures a resilient, durable blade. Stabilized Missouri black walnut handle scales are set on a full tang for strength. The domed handle is completed with a lined lanyard hole. The recurve blade makes this one heck of an efficient chopper! Accompanied by a custom ordered leather belt sheath. This pattern was featured on page 40 of the 45th Anniversary Collector's Edition in Blade Magazine.
