This is one of the nicest of these I’ve commissioned. Don Hanson III hunter in his deep-pressed-in ladder pattern damascus and creamy mammoth scales with “signature Hanson” blue-black ivory highlights.

Thanks, Don!

Enjoy:

Don just knows how to "do-it-to-it". Man that is so nice.

Congrats to you, and a super "Atta-boy" to my man Don.

Thanks guys!

It's difficult to really appreciate this design until is finished and in your hand.

Will, it was a pleasure working with ya!

Thanks, Don. You and John have given me a lot of excitement and fun this fall, besides two incredible knives. When you both posted positive comments to my original thread on this pattern almost two years ago, I remember thinking to myself, "Man, if those two guys would build this pattern, just think what they could do." Two amazing pieces.

this is a great design, Will. Don's version is pretty sweet and I especially the trick 'Rolling Stones' spacer : )

I thought exactly that when I saw the guard, looks just like their Warhol logo without the lolling tongue. My next thought: Jagger = same derivation as Jaeger, which in German means...what else? :D

Here are a few more photos.

Steels are W2, 1084 and 15N20,

That's cool about the Rolling Stones. Didn't see that at first. :D
