Don Hanson III Hunter

Will - it definitely does not suck to be you - it's hunter heaven at your place! Beautiful rendition here by Don.

do you have a name for your design, Will? It deserves one.

how about 'Jagermeister', (as in 'hunt master'- not the liquor)?

That's a nice name and I appreciate the thought behind it, but I'm afraid it's so fancy I'd get laughed at if I said it out loud in these parts. :foot: :D

Beauitful piece and design Will, I don't ever remember seeing a knife Dons made I haven't liked.
Congrats to both for an excellent job.

Once again, Will...envious of your hunter project. Just an outstanding group of knives this has produced. Don's contribution is awesome. I wanted to get over to his shop to see it before it shipped, and didn't make it. I hope to have a chance to meet you and your collection at some point, and handle all of these awesome blades.

I don't think I have seen Don carve into his ivory like that before. You may have started something! :D

This is one cool York Hunter.

Thanks for those kind words, Joe, and I look forward to meeting you one of these days as well.

Thanks to all for posting,
Will

Joe I wished we could have gotten together before I shipped it.

The shape of that handle takes a huge set of scales, so wont see me make too many, ;)

Thanks for all the good words, folks! Much appreciated!
