Don Karlin was a very good knife maker in the late 70's early 80's. IIRC he was know for his daggers. I used to have a self handled (no handle material at all, not ever wrapped) dagger style boot knife that he made. It was made from a very thin stock, maybe 1/8" and probably 6" overall length. It was very well done. He had a knife that was sold recently here.
Thanks for the info. I bought one of his knives at a gun show last weekend. It is a Loveless style hunting knife with outstanding file work and a very fine eagle that is scrimshawed on ivory micarta. Is he still living or making knives. Thanks
