It is with great sorrow, that I have to inform the list of more bad news. I got a letter Saturday from Donald Lange's brother. I knew it was bad news, even before I opened the letter, as I had never corresponded with Donald's Brother. Unfortunately, I was correct. Donald Lange passed away on March 19th 2001 of Leukemia. For those of you who do not know Donald Lange, he was an ABS Mastersmith whose work was as close to perfect as could be found. The man made awesome bowies, hunters and fighters. I even talked him into making me a neck knife(one of my most cherished knives). Don was great to talk to, and had a great sense of humor and was extremely generous. I will miss him.
