I did this last year (actually Dec. of 2012): http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ot-Christmas-Sale-Sale-Over-amp-Donation-Made, and it was fun and a success so I'm going to do it again. We are dog lovers in my family, always have been, always will be. I do what I can to support our local Austin Humane Society, which does excellent work for the pups (and other critters): http://www.austinhumanesociety.org/ At the conclusion of this sale, along with the two related sales referenced below, I will donate the total gross proceeds to the AHS. I'll post the receipt here in the thread, to show I kept my commitment and didn't blow it on knives! I ran this by our friendly neighborhood supermod before I did the first one, and he kindly gave me the green light (thanks, Mike). So, make a buy and help the pups!

Up for your consideration, we have:
First, a group shot:
Please note: These knives have been sharpened to a nice edge and lightly used. They have some minor blade scratching, rub marks, etc. The carbon knives have patina. I take good care of my knives and generally use them lightly, but these are used knives.
Thanks.
1) GEC Northfield #792213 Workhorse in Blood Red Jig Bone. Nice moderate pull on both blades. No half stops. Sharp and an excellent slicer. I smoothed out the sharp tang and it is now more comfortable in hand and in pocket. I also rounded the spine of the coping blade a bit.
Includes tube. $65.00 Now $59.00 SOLD
2) GEC Tidioute #152112 STL Boys Knife (Spear) in Ebony Wood. Moderate pull and half stop. I smoothed out the sharp tang and it is now more comfortable in hand and in pocket. I did a quick review of it and a companion Boys Knife here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1085674-Ebony-amp-Ivory-(-15-Boys-Knives)
Includes tube. $50.00 SOLD
3) Case Medium Stockman in Bermuda Green jigged bone #6318 SS. I lowered the kick on the sheepsfoot and also took a bit off the spine, and it now rides lower and is more comfortable when using the other blades.
Includes box. $30.00 SOLD
4) Case Humpback Stockman in Pocket Worn Harvest Orange jigged bone #63046 SS. I changed the spey into a nice pen, and the sheepsfoot into a semi-wharnie so it would ride lower. The latter operation intruded a bit on the nail nick, though it still opens just fine.
Includes box. $30.00 SOLD
5) Case Sowbelly in Antique Jigged Bone #TB 6139 SS. This is a hard-to-come-by single blade Sowbelly.
Includes (worn) box. $50.00 SOLD
