Im pretty mad at knifecenter. Someone screwed up big time and blew my chance to get a ZT 0999. Basically I was all set with my order, the service rep screwed up, held me on the line until the last one was sold. To make matters worse they told me theres other ways to make sure your order is properly placed(cause our support specialists who are helping you cant do it) and to understand their position. Super bummed, and they were completely unapologetic. I have cancelled my acount and requested they permanently delete my info. I will never buy from that crap overpriced site again, and Im urging my friends to do the same. Been shopping there 10 years and Im done. If anyone would help give knifecenter a big FU by closing thier account it would make a big smile on my face. If not your choice but it seems like every other site is $10-20 cheaper even on the $100 class knives, and thier sales suck. GPKnives seems to beat them on any blade, but most others do also. Please shop somewhere else this holiday season.

They treated you well enough for the past 10 years and now you've sworn them off because you missed out on a le zt?

ZT 0999 sold out everywhere (6 different dealers) in just a couple of minutes after 9:00am Pacific Time. Additionally, per instructions from ZT to dealers only to be sold on or after 9:00am and online orders only.

Per email from ZT to potential buyers of ZT 0999:

"WEBSITE SALES ONLY

No phone calls.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to pre-order these knives and they may not be visible on these dealers' sites until the time of the sale."

For what it's worth, I had my order of ZT 0999 but by the time it got to check out it was all sold out.

I was on the phone with them well before they went for sale. They took me off hold after they sold out. That and the way they treated me when they realized it was too late. Reminded me of south park, "Your 0999 didnt do too well its gone. The knife is gone please step aside for paying customers." Im a knife nut and this is an especially big deal for me. Yes I am both a little unbalanced and also done with knifecenter.

It was clearly stated in the email that no over the phone sales will be allowed from the dealers. Online sales only.

I had problems ordering a Rockstead through them. After the shipping label was created it was addressed incorrectly (I entered the shipping info correctly and don't want a $700 knife going to the wrong address), I contacted them, a male rep was willing to help a female rep didnt seem to care. The one that didn't care didn't give me any other choice but to cancel my order. Oh well. Lost a great customer. Too many other great distributors out there with amazing customer service to sweat it.

Since know it was your F-UP should change the title, since they didn't do anything wrong. Know I would never call to order a knife that's gonna be sold out in a flash, clicking buttons is much faster and I wouldn't depend on an operator even if that was an option, cause you depending on them to be quick means the fate of your order is in somebody else's hands, and I don't like that, nobody to blame but yourself if miss out.

They've given you 10yrs of good service and your quitting on them because you missed out on one of the least appealing knives In history.
Sure they could've handled the situation a bit better, but it sounds to me like you dodged an extremely ugly bullet.

Thats exactly why I called them before the sale went on. Like i said if she just said youhave to order online I wouldnt be posting
