I Can't put into words how much I HATE this member.Did refund me though F'd up my rep. I have tbe package he sent me "/RIPPPIPPED IN HALF''' the dumb ass "envolope he sent me was ripped compleltly in half and said so by my PO Post Master. I'm sorry . Not to many I hate on BF but FU StraightEdgeEDC your either a retard or you are just an a$$hole and I will never do business with you again. You Sux. You left me bad FB first without even an explaintion even though it was your F%^k up . Your to blame not me. You suck. Never doing business withyou again.

I think there is a LOT missing from the story here.

You both been around a bit and up until this transaction had all positive FB.

You got an envelope ripped in half missing your item and got a refund by your own admission.

Got neg FB for being rude and inappropriate which this thread would indicate to be at least somewhat true.

What we have here is pretty sad. One member made a mistake in the way they mailed the package. SO he did right and offered a refund. On the other side we have someone that completely raged out and damn near melted down, sending one vulgar message after another to the seller, going above and beyond to just to drive home a point that was not necessary. Leaving negative feedback even though the deal was undone. The seller has 10 perfectly satisfied deals, and then we have anger management incorporated come in and drop a negative. The cursing, the insults, the unrequited rage was not enough I guess. So as retaliation, the seller leaves negative feedback, not based on his mistake, but on the way that Ulf reacted poor form on both sides.

The buyer then paid with "gift", I suppose that was the sellers fault too? Come on Ulf, this is pure BS on your end too. Was your ranting and raving really worth it? do you feel more like a man when you do these kinds of things? It's not your first meltdown, you have some warnings and possible infractions for the same thing. You are making yourself look like the best person NOT to deal with. Maybe we should get the seller to share his copies of the emails you sent him? If he won't do it I have copies that he sent me. Seriously, you are out of control and need to reign it way in. This kind of attitude is going to cause you one hell of a lot of undue tragedy and suffering in your life.

Geeze Ulf!!!

So the guy screwed up with the packaging, he sent you a refund. Why vapor-lock over a freaking knife? I would sure hate to see you after something important in life did not go your way.

Again, another ridiculous thread on GB&U just because an OP got his panties in a wad even though he is not out even a red penny

Ulf, be the bigger man and suck it up

I'm relatively new here and have followed these threads. I've learned a lot from them. I'm grateful the mods don't wipe them out like they do on a lot of other forums. Everyone has a chance to apologize and make things right. Not go down like a douche and have the evidence wiped away.

I understand that the item should have been packaged better (box or bubble mailer if this was only sent in an easily torn envelope). That said, is this anger you are feeling over the loss of an item that you only paid $15 for (and were refunded)?

Everybody screws up sometimes.

It's how the screw up is handled that defines you as a person.

Sorry, OP.....I'd never do business with you.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Yeah, funny how these threads work. OP, you've made yourself look absolutely ridiculous, and possibly mentally unbalanced. I won't do any business with you, and frankly, I don't think you should be around sharp objects.

I'd be willing to bet that Ulf will wake up this morning, sober, and fix his mistakes with this thread.

I've done business with him a couple times and chatted a bit. He's a good guy in my book. We've all made the mistake of opening up the interwebz whilst angry or otherwise impaired.

Mistakes seem to have been made on both ends here. Common mistakes at that. Poor packaging, tempers allowed to flair, etc. I'd personally chalk it up to a lesson learned and move on in regards to both members reputations.

are great barometers for knowing who to deal with, it's unfortunate that the people who post them don't realize that.

Wow.... Seriously ? You totally blow a gasket over a $15 knife ?

Heck, even if it was a $500 knife and the seller did a crappy job of packaging it, as long as he makes good and refunds your $$$, is it really worth getting totally pissed off over ?

Another member posted that he thinks you are a good guy. That may be, but even those that are seemingly good, can have a very dark side. It appears that yours has shown itself here. I have a very small list of people I will never deal with, but I just added one more to the list.

I have said this jokingly to people before, but in your case, I think professional help and possibly meds might really help you. This isn't normal behavior...

Wow. What a douchebag comment. I suppose you are a psychiatrist and an expert on 'normal behavior,' right? Do you know the OP personally, or are you just a pompous ass?

While I agree that the OP's post was over the top, and with most of the responses you have no idea what kind of person he is or whether 'professional help and possibly meds' might help based on this limited BF exchange.

I've said and written things in anger that I've regretted later as I'm sure most 'normal' people have.

My opinion, which is worth diddly squat, is that the OP should apologize for his remarks and that the armchair psychiatrists so eager to pig pile on the OP and offer their 'expert opinions' on his mental health (given solely to piss off the OP) should sit this one out.

I work in the medical field and my observations over the years have lead me to believe that people who think everyone around them needs meds and psychiatric help are usually prime candidates for one or both.

You're damned right I've got PMS!

It would appear this is a touchy subject for you. I'm not a Psychiatrist and didn't claim to be...
Douche bag comment ? Really ?
My opinion is worth about as much as yours, which is absolutely nothing. Contrary to your expert evaluation as to why I made the comment I did, you are 100% incorrect. Pissing off the OP never entered my mind when I typed it, and I stand by the comment I made, irregardless of what you or anyone else thinks.

I never made the comment or felt that "everyone else around me needs meds and help, so don't put words in my mouth. Much the same as I have never felt or believed I was perfect. Far from it. Just like everyone else in this world.

I'm just a 53 year old truck driver, so I don't have your vast life experience in the medical field. I have however been around enough different people over those 53 years to know when someone is acting totally irrational.

If something as simple as a ripped up envelope that held a $15 knife sets him off at this level, it indicates to me he has anger control issues.
Both of which can be helped through therapy and or meds, but you working in the medical field should already know this. It doesn't take an eight year degree and a piece of paper hanging on the wall to see this.

I don't have PMS, but I am getting old and cranky, so I guess we have something in common :D

Maybe you should follow your own advice on this one. Observations is a lengthier word for "opinion" and you already covered what value you place on yours. Please don't come in in here and start throwing more logs into the fire. The "armchair medical workers" need a break as well. Whatever his problem is, the fallout is what is inexcusable. I find your comment a bit more vitriolic than whatever any else has posted aside from the OP. Again, you are missing large chunks of information regarding this entire thing.

I expected to see the item in question was a $1200 custom, but all that rage for a $15 trinket? I am hoping this thread was started for whatever reason out of character.

It's sad that members like this cast a shadow on our great community! I learned a long time ago that being nice will get you far in life, and being a jerk will get you absolutely nowhere. (And make you lonely!)

I'm just glad I lead such a boring life that I have time to set back with popcorn and enjoy the show!!

Can we get some facts in this thread?

I mean...what happened? what was the item? When did the seller make right (e.g. was it a day or two or was it like weeks of arguing?)

This isn't exactly a good representation for either party. Worse for the OP IMHO.
