Don't do what I did.... Decided to use some scrap metal for new bevels.

So, the short version is I grabbed some 3/16" steel off the shelf and didn't pay enough attention to see what I was using.... Well about 20 minutes into the bevel grinding (I grind my bevels by hand currently using a file) and getting fustrated that the file kept gumming up, I decide to look at the steel a little closer.... WELDING STEEL!! Doh! Heat+welding steel equals bad mojo.

Here is the bad blade.

Teach me not to burn up good steel for testing... LOL!
