Don't know how Francesco Amatori's "ART" was missed?

Francesco Amatori recently contacted me and shared some of his engraving and scrimshaw masterpieces. Not being familiar with Francesco's work I was VERY impressed and after doing a search only found a few examples here on Blade Forums. Surprising, considering the outstanding engraving threads we have here.
In addition, Francesco is also an accomplished painter. http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/yourgallery/artist_profile/Francesco+Amatori/15261.html
What amazing talent and also a gentleman.

I was wondering if anyone has other examples/images of Francesco's work? Especially engraving on knives and guns. Or for that matter, any other artists/craftsmen who may not have had much exposure on Blade Forums?

Many of those pieces are ones I would love to be able to hold, feel, touch, look over, etc. The tiger images are just toooo real!

that's some amazing work, all right.
I especially like the scrimmed MOP, I'd love to see that in person.

I think that Amatori is at the top of his craft and those images are amazing. Besides the tigers, that Native American is beyond words.:thumbup:

I am left speechless!! His work is so beautiful, that it brought tears to my eyes.

Ordinarily, I am very reserved when it comes to engraving and scrimshaw, but that is arguably the most incredible stuff I have ever seen. I would be proud to own any of it.

A few examples of Francesco Amatori's amazing work
on knives can be found in my books.

AND just wait and see what Francesco will be doing for
my next book, "The World of Art Knives"....
All the best,

that's an even better title, David:thumbup:

Wonderful engraving and scrimshawing, Kevin.
Speaking of tigers.
Does anyone remember this Tschager with Fracassi engraving from Dave Ellis' showing ?

Thanks Kevin- that is some of the most amazing work I have seen!

Amatore ,although being fairly new to the scene, is becoming one of the finest engravers in the World.
I am currently having him do a piece where he scrims/engraves on Pearl.
In my humble opinion it is currently Fracassi and Torcoli at numbers one and two,Amatore is surely not far behind. Creative Arts of Italy has marvelous artist's and Steve Lindsay and Ron Skaggs are certainly no slouches.
Kevin, thanks for posting all of incredible stuff, and the guy keeps getting better!!
