Good job for the first time.!
Take it one step further and buff the scales or use a light coating of 3-in1 oil or even WD-40. Doing that will really bring out the deep color of the G10 and it won't look so "chalky". Overall good job and congrats on taking the plunge on your first customization.
Thanks for the tip man, that was next on my list.
Any tips out there for how to do a nice stonewash using household items? (A.K.A anything but an actual stonewash/tumbling machine)
Also, get yourself a bottle of Ferric Chloride (aka PCB Etchant) from Radio Shack for around $12. You'll get the same if not better results when etching in a fraction of the time, usually in less than a minute.
