Don't Tread On Me

I just purchased number 16 on eBay last night. I have been watching them sell that last few months and Lynn told me number 16 was the last one that he had.
 
i think i saw #1 listed on ebay with a whole package of stuff for $3750.....but has free shipping :D
 
I asked about #1 and below was his answer,but I see it for sale on his web site. He probably meant it was not for sale on e-bay. That is one expensive pen
#1 is not for sale.... and #16 is the last one of this limited edition. I hope to have a short run of the first navy jack flag with the snake and "Dont Tread On Me" below. If I'm lucky, they will be out next month.

I don't know how anyone has bought one off of Fleebay. I have been looking on there for a few months now, for this particular knife.
 
Mine was listed as "Large Sebenza" only.

Does anyone know what the original price was?

I paid $535, which seemed fine, because it's double lug, unique.
That same config from CRK would run $570
 
I see number 1 is for sale on eBay and his web site, so I do not know why he told me number 1 is not for sale. Those were his exact words (cut and pasted in my above response ) when I asked if number 1 is for sale. Anyway I'm glad I got #16, it is a cool knife.

The price from Lynn Olsen (eBay) was 495.00 They are all double lug (1-20)
 
I bought this to be a user, so today I took it a step further in the process of making it mine. :D

I used a dremel on low speed with a felt pad to remove the anodizing on the standoff and lugs.
I always preferred the look of silver hardware on Sebenza's. I'm guessing the anodizing will wear off eventually under use anyways, even on the handle engraving.

I took my time and masked off the blade extremely well, it worked perfect and the ano came off without damaging any of the stonewash finish on the blade.

Drat! Now I gotta save for another Sebbie. Never been a big fan of the decorated ones but this one calls to me.
 
Navy jack flag sounds awesome. I will look forward to these. Thank you for posting this info Tom.

Steve - I don't know if leftys are likely on this one, but if there are 2, I will take the second one!
