You and me both friend! Although the new Endura Gen. 4 might make deciding a lot more difficult. :p

Hello travis55, Get it if you can. You won't be sorry. It is an awsome knife IMHO. Solid knife, smooth, solid lock-up, grippy (G-10), Great Blade Steel (CPMS30V), and wicked sharp. Very Impressive. :)

God Bless:)

Just open up your wallet and say buh bye to your money. And leave it at that. THEN, go out and buy the knife YOU want!!

especially when its a really expensive knife and Im broke, and I start thinking of things to sell... makes me feel like a drug addict.:barf:

I should have never bought the native . Now I have the spyderco bug . As much as I like the native I know the Manix must be pretty damn nice .

I can feel your pain. I ordered a BM 710 HS from a vendor on Sunday PM after reading it's been discontinued. I have received the initial order confirmation, but have been waiting for a completion or shipping confirmation. I am also somewhat motivated by concern because of one user's reply stating he had difficulty finding one (tried several sites, according to his post).

My reasoning: I've been wanting a 710 HS for years now...as I stumbled across gator97's knife review site once upon a time - which ultimately introduced me to Bladeforums! Now that they are D/C'd, I have no excuse not to get one.

I handled one at a local sporting goods store that recently received one, but I can get one online (if I can find one) for far less than the $190 they are selling it for. They are also an hour away, and the last time I was there was before Christmas...I won't be back that way until the 9th of Jan... Now I know I have OCD!

C'mon, vendor...fill that order!

It's even worse when you've got that certain knife in your head for a month, finally get to handle it in person and get totally turned off to it for whatever reason. :foot: :(

+1 on the native, but I decided to go with the paramilitary next, and it has become my EDC. Paramilitary is by far my favorite hard use EDC folder. I'd give it a good look as well as the manix. :)

I know how you feel.

Right now, I just have to have...

Al Mar SERE 2000
Spyderco Manix
Spyderco Pacific Salt
Benchmade Skirmish
Benchmade Griptilian
Chris Reeve Sebenza (Large, Classic)
Frosts Mora #1
KA-BAR USMC Fighting Knife
Cold Steel Urban Pal

Andthe scary thing is that next week I will be ordering all of these!

Yep. Like you, Hair, I don't have a SINGLE knife I'm obsessing over. I really have to exert some self-control (at least if I want my marriage to last :) )

Same here.
First post for me and it all started with Spyderco from NGK now I can feel and see the slippery slope.

Man I can't stop thinking about a Spyderco Military, or maybe a BM auto stryker, or maybe a BM apparition, BM griptillian, Spyderco manix, Spyderco endura. Someone please help me!

Here you go: Get a Spyderco Police. Mine's on its way, making me postpone my quest for the Manix.

Or, get a Chinook.

Or perhaps an Ocelot.

ha.
