I handled one at a local sporting goods store that recently received one, but I can get one online (if I can find one) for far less than the $190 they are selling it for. They are also an hour away, and the last time I was there was before Christmas...I won't be back that way until the 9th of Jan... Now I know I have OCD! :eek:

I know what you mean. Waiting on a chinook II since the 11th. I was hopeing to have xmas but no luck. Now I'm hopeing to get it before new years is over!


Makes me think when Homer Simpson had to wait 5 days to get his gun.

You need to see a doctor, me too. I need Spyderco Kopa, Adventura, BM 690,705, and 730 and now.
 
Now im thinkin about the paramilitary thanks to jerkee joe , lol . I just like the blade better on the manix .

No. I hate it when I've got my mind on a certain knife and got to have it and there's no money in my bank account.

I took care of that today. Gave newgraham a call and a CF Military is on the way.
 
As things would have it, I lust after the same knife! I just may be able to swing it next month though, as I have a birthday coming up!
 
When I think I'm done, I just open another link &... fall in love with another blade shape or better steel or... whatever! My wish list so far: SERE2000 (all black), a Nomad...:jerkit: & I don't have any Benchmade yet... maybe a Skirmish (grey handles)...:jerkit: Now that I already have my Manix there's a Mini-Manix... By the way I'll be happy to replace my old multitool with a Leatherman Core (looks strong)... There's only one way to explain it: think of women &... shoes! :D
 
OK this is starting to get serious. I just bought 5 more knives today. I had 1 folding knife at the beginning of December. Now I have 9. This has got to slow down or I won't be able to eat.:(
 
I usually have a couple of knives on my "To Buy" list at any given time. The most expensive on my current want list is a Spyderco Kopa. Least expensive is a Opinel Carbon #6. I got a whole lot of "in-betweens". ;)
 
Get it man, Manix is not exactly an expansive knife. It is sweeter than you imagin.

You will hated more when you start looking for a Busse Battle Mistress. I saved for a long time for one. But now a fair price of BM is no where to be found.
 
Just bought the Manix and its badass to be sure. Just got the edge fine tuned by Mr. Willey in Greenwood, DE. That steel gets scary sharp!
